The Meiji EMZ8TR is a durable routine trinocular stereomicroscope, made in Japan. This zoom stereomicroscope design has been in production for the last 20 years, and features Greenough stereomicroscope optics housed in a metal case for durability. The focus gears are brass - even the zoom knobs are metal! The phototube allows any of our digital camera systems to be added (sold separately), and functions such that both eyepieces and the camera may be used simultaneously which is excellent for teaching applications. With standard 10x widefield eyepiece pair, the zoom range is 7x to 45x. * Now available in new High Eyepoint (H) versions - recommended!

P-Stand: A basic small-footprint pole stand with black / white stage plate (EMZ8TR-P or EMZ8TR(H)-P) Requires illuminator, sold separately.
PK-Stand: A wide-footprint pole stand with black / white stage plate (EMZ8TR-PK or EMZ8TR(H)-PK) Requires illuminator, sold separately.
PLS2 Stand: A standard footprint dual LED transmitted and reflected light pole stand with glass stage plate (EMZ8TR-PLS2 or EMZ8TR(H)-PLS2)
BD-LED Stand: A standard footprint dual LED transmitted / reflected light pole stand with sub-stage tilting mirror (EMZ8TR-BDLED or EMZ8TR(H)-BDLED)
